To assess the long-term clinical effects of Culotte and different Crush techniques in the treatment of unprotected left main bifurcation coronary lesions to determine the best percutaneous coronary intervention strategy.
The systematic review and meta-analysis comprised search on PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, WanFang Data and the China National Knowledge Infrastructure literature databases to locate randomised controlled trials and cohort studies published in Chinese and/or English language till June 2021 and comprised application of Culotte and Crush stenting techniques for percutaneous coronary intervention in patients with unprotected left main bifurcation coronary lesions. The selected studies were analysed for quality, publication bias and heterogeneity.
Of the 197 studies located, 8(4.06%) were subjected to meta-analysis. The incidence of major adverse cardiac events in the Mixed-Crush group was higher than the Culotte group (p=0.02), which, in turn, was higher than the Double Kiss Crush group (p<0.0001), The incidence of target lesion revascularisation in the Culotte group was significantly higher than Double Kiss Crush group (p<0.001). The incidence of myocardial infarction in the Culotte group was higher than the Double Kiss Crush group (p=0.04). The incidence of cardiogenic death in the Double Kiss Crush group was similar to that in the Culotte group (p=0.32).
Patients in the Double Kiss Crush group had the most long-term benefits, while those receivingg Mixed Crush had the least long-term benefits.

Gastric cancer is one of the most prevalent cancers in Asia, and has a significant global incidence. However, the impact of fried food consumption on gastric cancer risk remains uncertain, mainly due to the limited number of participants in previous studies. To address this knowledge gap, we aimed to examine the association between fried food intake and gastric cancer incidence through a comprehensive meta-analysis. We conducted a thorough search across multiple databases, including PubMed, EMBASE, Google Scholar, Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Korean Information Service System (KISS), and Research Information Service System (RISS), to collect studies. Association of Fried Food Intake with Gastric Cancer Risk: A Systemic Review and Meta-Analysis of Case-Control Studies.

This study aims to investigate research trends concerning job stress among hospital nurses. Articles about job stress among hospital nurses published in English from 2008 to 2018 were searched. In the first search, 2673 articles were extracted from the MEDLINE, EMBASE, KoreaMed, KERIS, KISS, KISTI, and KMbase databases. Altogether, 154 articles were used in the systematic review and meta-analysis. Thirty-nine variables were explored regarding job stress. Among the major variables, insufficient job control, personal conflict, and burnout had a positive correlation. In contrast, intention to stay, job satisfaction, and personal accomplishment had a negative correlation. In the meta-analysis conducted in relation to a specific conceptual framework, the negative-outcome factors showed significant positive correlations with job stress, whereas the positive-outcome factors showed significant negative correlations with job stress. This study identified factors associated with job stress in nurses through a meta-correlation analysis, and the overall correlation coefficient was relatively high at 0.51. Job factors and moderators had significant meta-correlation coefficients. These results can be utilized in clinical practice and research to help develop intervention programs to relieve job stress among nurses.

Factors Associated with Job Stress among Hospital Nurses: A Meta-Correlation Analysis.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the comparative effectiveness of a low-calorie diet (LCD) combined with acupuncture, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), meal replacements (MR), and exercise on weight loss.
The electronic databases MEDLINE, EMBASE, CENTRAL, CNKI, RISS, and KISS were searched systematically. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) that directly compared the effect of a low-calorie diet (LCD)-combined acupuncture, CBT, and exercise and an MR-based diet on weight loss with LCD-alone for adults with simple obesity (body mass index [BMI] > 25) published before August 2021 were included in the study. Two investigators extracted and coded the data using a template. Any disagreements between investigators were resolved through discussion. Changes in BMI or weight were transformed to Hedges' g values with a 95% CI, and network meta-analyses using a Bayesian random-effects model were conducted.
A total of thirty-two trials involving 3,364 patients were finally included in the study. The effect sizes of four interventions were medium, in the order of acupuncture (Hedges' g = 0.48, 95% CI = 0.25 - 0.71), CBT (Hedges' g = 0.42, 95% CI = 0.20 - 0.63), MR (Hedges' g = 0.32, 95% CI = 0.19 - 0.45), and exercise (Hedges' g = 0.27, 95% CI = 0.06 - 0.46).In terms of intervention period, acupuncture was effective in the short period (≤ 12 weeks, Hedges' g = 0.39, 95% CI = 0.12 - 0.67) and the long period (>12 weeks, Hedges' g = 0.89, 95% CI = 0.37 - 1.40), whereas CBT (Hedges' g = 0.51, 95% CI = 0.26 - 0.76) and exercise (Hedges' g = 0.37, 95% CI = 0.12 - 0.59) were effective only in the long period. MR was effective only in the short period (Hedges' g = 0.35, 95% CI = 0.18 - 0.53).
This study suggests that acupuncture, CBT, MR, and exercise for simple obesity show a medium effect size, and their effectiveness differs according to the intervention period.
